| These Magical
Moons™ are lovingly created by hand from a variety of fabrics and beads. |
| Over the
years I have acquired yards of beautiful old fabric, vintage linens and articles of
clothing made from delightful material. I have collected jewelry made with unusual and
pretty beads. I knew someday I would use all of these to fashion something lovely and
enchanting. |
| Last year I
decided to make something special to decorate Christmas packages and the bottles of
homemade coffee liquor I give to friends. I came across a picture of a beautiful crescent
moon. I knew that I had found the perfect way to blend the treasures I had collected. |
| I wanted my
moons to be special. I sewed them with the wonderful old fabrics and decorated them with
cascading beads. Each one came out a little bit different. I put them on the gifts and
bottles and gave them out to friends and family. Everyone loved them. I assumed the moons
would wind up on the Christmas trees and be seen only during the holidays. I was wrong.
Some people did put them on their trees but when it came time to put the decorations away,
the moons did not go in the boxes. They hung them up on the bathroom mirrors and bedroom
walls. I saw them hanging from door knobs and in windows. I was very surprised and
pleased. I had really delighted in making my moons. It made me feel wonderful that
everyone enjoyed them so much. |
| After some
encouraging words from friends and family I decided to create moons to share with others.
Magical Moons™ was born. I hope you find as much pleasure and joy in owning one
of my moons, as I have had in creating them. |
